Gronk is currently in the USA, having something of a holiday. But he is still recording stuff, with Scott, his American friend and possessor of bizarre instruments—such as an accordion and a marimba. Gronk's latest missive is a short one.
Things are great out here, I'm now brown rather than red; Scott is a scientist by trade and doesn't know any music moguls, though he's very handy with a saxophone. I'm applying for a job as a PA for Cooking Vinyl, a record company based in Acton. Found out about the job through CMU—thanks DK!
Here' s a cover version of Cupid, by Sam Cooke, that I laid down yesterday; lots of fun to record...
He has also sent another short instrumental track—Good Morning Caroline—which is a salute to mark his return to the US.
