Gronk's 1996 double album, remastered as a Ten Year Anniversary Edition in 2006, was heavily influenced by The Cure's Disintegration. The overall feel of the album is much the same: layered, brooding but with occasional upbeat songs to keep the pace up.
Whether you like the album or not, one has to admit that it is a pretty stunning achievement for someone who was, after all, just 16 at the time that it was written and recorded.
Sweet Streams... was designed as a double album and was originally packaged as two double-sided cassettes; the fact that it was effectively four sides can be heard in the choice of track listing.
